HOW IT WORKS

Made by hand, finished like a gallery.

Every new home map is rendered live, printed on 310gsm museum-grade matte paper, and hand-framed in London in solid-wood mouldings with conservation-grade mounting. Live preview before you order. Free UK delivery on orders over £50. Hand-framed orders dispatch within a few working days.

The new address, framed

Search for the new address - first flat, first house, the place after a move across the country. The designer above centres a custom map on that exact street in the style and colours you choose. Add the move-in date, the coordinates, a single line. We print on museum-grade matte paper and hand-frame it in London.

This is the housewarming gift that doesn't sit in a drawer. A framed map of the new front door is the print that ends up above it - a marker that says this is the place now. Works as a gift to friends moving in together, as a parent's gift to a child's first flat, as a couple's print for the wall of their first house.

About

What is a new home map print?

A personalised map print centred on a new address - the first home, a fresh flat, the house someone finally bought. The designer above plots any address worldwide, you choose the zoom and the style, then add the move-in date and the people's names. The print captures the street where the next chapter starts.

The housewarming gift that ends up on the wall

Most housewarming gifts disappear within a year. Bottles get drunk, candles burn down, plants die. A framed map of the new address is the gift that stays - a marker on the wall that says this is the place now. We've made these as gifts from parents to first-time buyers, from friends to renters, from a partner to the other half on moving day.

Designed live, printed and framed in London

The map above is rendered live as you type the address. Pick the style - minimalist, vintage, modern, monochrome - and adjust the colour palette to match the new walls. Print on 310gsm matte paper with fade-resistant pigment inks, hand-framed in real-wood mouldings in London. Send the new address to hello@theposteredit.com if you'd rather we design and proof it for you.

General

What is a new home map print?

A custom map print centred on a new address - first flat, first house, a fresh move. The designer above plots any address worldwide, and the print captures that exact street, framed by hand in London.

Can I map any address worldwide?

Yes - any address, anywhere. Use the search to find the new place, then adjust the zoom and position before ordering. Works for UK addresses, international moves, even rural locations where the street name barely registers.

Is it a good housewarming gift?

It's one of our most-given housewarming gifts. Unlike candles and bottles, this one stays on the wall. Works for first-time buyers, couples moving in together, friends renting, and parents marking a child's first move.

What styles are available?

Multiple map styles - minimalist, vintage, modern, monochrome - plus adjustable colour palettes. The designer above lets you preview every combination before ordering. Pick the one that suits the new walls.

Can I add the move-in date or a name?

Yes. Add the move-in date, the address, the new occupants' names, the coordinates, or a short line - "home at last", "the place now". Keep it short, under twelve words.

Are the prints framed?

Every Poster Edit map print is hand-framed in London in a real-wood moulding with conservation-grade mounting. Choose your frame and mount in the designer.

How quickly can you ship for a moving date?

Hand-framed orders dispatch within a few working days. For specific deadlines, drop us a note at hello@theposteredit.com and we'll confirm before you order.
