Choose your framed finish

The wedding photograph, framed properly

You spent a four-figure sum on the photography. The print and frame should match. The cards above let you pick the finish that suits the image — traditional mounted, float mounted, oversized mount, or a larger statement frame. All printed on archival paper and hand-framed in solid wood in our UK studio.

HOW IT WORKS

Made by hand, finished like a gallery.

Gallery-grade finish

Archival paper, conservation card mount, solid wood frame, acrylic glazing. The finish your wedding photographer would pick for their own portfolio prints.

Single hero shot or a series

Frame the one shot that captures the day, or order a matched set for a gallery wall. Live preview in the designer above shows exactly how the framed result will look at every size.

Built to last the marriage

Pigment inks on cotton-rag paper. Conservation mount that will not buckle or yellow. Solid wood frame that stays flat. The wedding photograph on the wall in twenty years still looks like the one you framed today.

About

Most wedding photographs sit on a hard drive. The handful that make it to the wall deserve a frame that matches the quality of the photography. We print every wedding photograph on archival 310gsm cotton-rag paper, mount it behind a conservation card mount, and hand-frame it in solid-wood mouldings — the same construction galleries use for fine-art prints.

Pick the right shot, frame it the right way

A formal portrait sits best in a traditional card mount — the mat board adds breathing room and gives the image gallery presence. A documentary candid often works better float mounted, edges visible, the print sitting proud of the backing board for a fine-art presentation. A single wide hero shot — the first dance, the church exterior, the group shot — earns a large statement frame. The comparison cards above show each option side by side.

As a gift

A framed wedding photograph is one of the few wedding gifts that actually gets used. For the newlyweds themselves, parents of the bride or groom, or a wedding anniversary years on. Upload the photograph in the designer above, pick the finish, and we will hand-frame and dispatch it for you.

Made in the UK

Every framed wedding photograph is printed, mounted, and framed in our UK studio. Solid wood from Italian mouldings, conservation mount, acrylic glazing, archival paper. No outsourcing, no flat-pack, no shortcuts.

About framed wedding photos

My photographer sent high-res digital files. Can you frame them?

Yes. Upload the JPEG (or TIFF if your photographer supplied one) in the designer above. Most professional wedding photography files are large enough for any size we offer. Live preview shows the framed result before you order.

Is this a good gift for newlyweds or for an anniversary?

Yes — a framed wedding photograph is one of the few wedding gifts that gets daily use. Hand-framed in our UK studio on archival paper, presented in solid wood. Suitable for the newlyweds, for parents of the bride or groom, or as an anniversary gift years on.

Which framed finish suits a wedding photograph?

A traditional card mount suits formal portraits and group shots — adds gallery presence and keeps focus on the people. Float mounted suits documentary candids and colour-heavy shots — fine-art presentation with the print sitting proud of the board. A large statement frame suits a single wide hero shot. The comparison cards above show each option.

02

Paper, frames, finish

What paper do you print on?

310gsm cotton-rag paper as standard — archival, acid-free, with fade-resistant pigment inks. The same paper used by galleries and limited-edition print houses.

Is the frame real wood?

Yes. Solid-wood mouldings from Italian suppliers, hand-finished and built to size in our UK studio. No MDF, no plastic. Conservation mount and acrylic glazing as standard.
