Which framed finish should I choose?

A traditional mounted framed photo is the classic, gallery-standard look — print sits behind a card mat board with a clean window cut around the image. A float mounted frame puts the print on top of the backing board with the edges fully visible — a fine-art look ideal for photos you want to treat as artwork. An oversized mount frame gives a single hero image extra wall presence.

Can I print and frame my own photo?

Yes — that's exactly what we do. Upload any photograph in the designer above. We print it on archival paper and hand-frame it in solid wood. Every framed photo print is personalised to your image.

What's the difference between your framed finishes?

Traditional mount (print behind a card mat with a window cut around the image), float mount (print on top of the backing board with edges visible — a fine-art look), oversized mount (extra-wide mount around a smaller image for impact), and large statement frames. Is the frame real wood?

Yes. Solid-wood mouldings from Italian suppliers, hand-finished and built to size in our UK studio. No MDF, no plastic. Conservation-grade mount board and acrylic glazing as standard.

What paper do you print on?

310gsm cotton-rag paper as standard — archival, acid-free, with fade-resistant pigment inks. The same paper used by museums and limited-edition print houses.

Can I have a bespoke or custom size?

Yes. Standard sizes cover the most common requests, but because each piece is hand-made we can produce bespoke sizes on request. Contact us before ordering with your dimensions.
