OLD OS MAP PRINTS BY LOCATION

Old OS map prints of every place in Great Britain

Hand-framed reprints from the original Ordnance Survey archive: Victorian and mid-20th-century OS maps of towns and cities across England, Scotland and Wales. Don't see your place? Map any address in Great Britain with our designer.

Four editions of the Ordnance Survey

Our designer offers four historic OS editions. The County Series of the late 1800s maps towns at six inches to the mile, so streets, churches, mills and railway sidings are named. The Hills Edition of the 1880s shows whole counties in hand-shaded relief. The Provisional Edition from the late 1930s has the deeper greens and thicker lines of the interwar years, and the 1950s Seventh Series is the one-inch map a generation of walkers carried.

Choosing a place

Most people choose a place with a story: the town a parent grew up in, the village where a couple married, a family farm or a first home. Search any address in England, Scotland or Wales, frame it as tightly or as widely as you like, and add a title with a name or a date.

A gift that lasts

Every map is printed on archival paper and can be hand-framed in London, ready to hang. Old OS maps make thoughtful gifts for retirements, anniversaries, new homes and big birthdays.

Old OS map questions

Which places can I map?

Anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland is not covered by the OS archive we use.

Which era should I choose?

The County Series shows the most street detail, so it suits towns and cities. For countryside and walking country, the Hills Edition or the Seventh Series show the landscape better.

Can I add a name or date?

Yes. Add a title such as a name, a date or coordinates in the designer before you order.

How much does an old OS map print cost?

Prints start at £28, with framed options on the product page. UK standard delivery is £4.95 and free on orders over £50.
